About the Method
The Apennine School of Living Philosophy in Trevi Nel Lazio – your center of examined life, a place of reflection, intensive contact with nature, and psycho-physical regeneration. The practice in our School is modelled around exercises proposed by ancient philosophical schools (both Western and Eastern). It also includes micro-expeditions into wilderness and trips to places crucial for shaping of the Western identity, such as the Monastery of San Benedetto in Subiaco (RM).
The Parco Naturale dei Monti Simbruini, where the School is located, some 80 km east of Rome is a unique place, rich in nature and history, ideally suited to studying the process of life in order to gain insight into what is existence.
This is a fascinating place, nestled among beech forests and rocks, waterfalls and streams, medieval monuments and ancient ruins. A great starting point for micro-expeditions in wild nature. You will be able to rest from everyday stress and look at your life from a philosophical perspective. Be a part of a community of investigators into the process of life.
